      Hello bros! I've recently noticed that after I started watching Pewdiepie, a lot of things he does has rubbed off on me (sounds gross, I know). I started noticing this when I talk with people irl. I subconsciously talk in accents now, such as that of Swedish, French, and British (for some odd reason). I didn't notice it at first, but after a week of talking in fake accents, my mom finally asked me why I do it. I obviously had no idea what she was talking about, until I heard myself talk. It's only after I stop talking that I realize that I was speaking in fake accents.

      I've also noticed that I'm starting to share Felix's hatred for barrels. I saw that new movie "Pirates: Band of Misfits" and that's where I noticed it. There was a part where the

      Pirate Captain cuts a rope and drops a ton of barrels on the queen of England while they were in the middle of the fight over the dodo. The barrels push her down a shaft, and then crush her (or so we were supposed to believe for a minute).
      My mouth dropped open and all I think of was yelling "BARRELS!"

      Good thing the movie was practically over, or I would've been kicked out for yelling at the barrels. :p
      What I want to know is, has anything that Pewdie does/likes/hates/says rubbed off on you? I know some of you probably have a love for voicing inanimate objects in videogames now. :thumbsup:

      Also, I honestly have no idea what category this should go in, or if there was a thread already like this. I used the search bar, but the results were endless.

      i picked up a slight swedish accent from him, a haterd for barrels...(i actually yelled "barrels" at a teacher at my school, long story shorty.... she thinks im crazy) ummm i talk to objects in-game, i use the phrase "what are you doing" alot also "are you fhaking kidding me"

      yes... i have picked up trates... mmind you its not a bad thing, always full of fun...

      its really fun...
      i guess you pick stuff up from things you like, e.g when i was into kingdom hearts, i would talk like the orgonisation members...
      and my love of kung fu gave me the skill to talk with a voice over :P

    • lately I find myself saying "Vespa...." in a very Pewdie sexy voice/whisper xD me and my girlfriend do it all the time like it will go:

      "Vespa...." <---- her
      "Vespa! I'm sorry! I can change!! I love you <3" <--- me
      "FUCKING DISGRACE!" <--- her

      then we laugh and go back to whatever we were doing while everyone else just shakes their heads in shame.... wondering why they know us

    • I usualy immitate Irresponsible Dad's "F*CKING DISGRAAAACE" whenever some friend of mine lets me down (in a funny situation, at least).
      And I've started to share the hatred for barrels, too. I had just begun to watch Pewdie when I accidentaly hit my toe on a barrel at my grandpa's house (Which hurt, btw) a few days later, and I was like "BAAARREEEELS!"

    • I actually used to do a lot of things when I played games by myself with accents and talking to inanimate objects for years. And I think that's why Pewdie is really fun for me to watch and it makes me laugh so much because it connects with me like that. But yeah I yell BARRELS! every time I see one lol and I talk in accents

      I always say "Sluta" (means stop it) when i don't like something, i even got a accent! Although i was always weird with accents, i'm from australia and used to have British Accent. Idk. i really dont know. Damn pewdie influence you scary!
