I have a question that anyone with a decent amount of subscribers on YT has an answer to.
In the last few weeks my subscribers have been going up(I have almost 200), and that's great and all, but my view amount isn't that high. I'm curious as to why that is.
Firstly, big ups for having a mac, unfortanatley, mine is broken and won't boot, hopefully I will get a new one soon.
You can't assume that ALL of your subscribers will view your videos, if you are achieving at least 10% of your subscribers viewing your videos, don't be too worried. It just fine. Look at PewDiePie for example, he has got over 7 million subscribers, but gets only about 600,000-800,000 views in that we'll when the video is released.
If it doesn't improve, try spreading your channel via word of mouth, tell your mates "Hey man, have you seen this video? This guy is good at making videos and I like his content". Just don't say you are that person.
Spreading via social network however in my opinion is a very big no no. For a low end channel, to be advertised on FaceBook, seems to be too attention seeking, but I can understand that people like you that people may have less patience than other people.
Give it time, and spread your channel by word, but not in a obnoxious way.
Trust me. -

Thanks, a lot of people are like "Hah, you can't game on a Mac, that's blasphemy" I can game most things and even graphically intensive/CPU eating games run just fine". I prefer a Mac.
I suppose you're right. It was just baffling because it's like. Why sub if you aren't going to watch lol.
I don't advertise really on social networking sites. I have my account linked to twitter so every time I upload something it says something, other than that I don't advertise.
I've been very patient with my channel and built it from the ground up. I have a fan base which is still odd to me, but all-in-all I'm quite happy.
