I wrote a book/movie hybrid about gamers titled:
Gamers Vs. Zombies-100% True Fictional Story
Synopsis (what the book is about):
Ian Jones, a 19-year-old gamer from a small town of Arlington Heights,
Illinois comes in possession of a weird zombie video game which grants
him a job as a full-time game tester/developer. There he meets five
other colleagues (including one girl), and they all get introduced with a
breathtakingly innovative technology-sensory operated gaming platform.
Suddenly,
a mysterious and legendary character from the gaming world appears, and
at that point it becomes clear that the zombie game is a bit more than
just a video game...
Genre of the book is comedy, action, adventure, mystery... Not horror
Apart from Ian Jones, two more characters are from the U.S., and the other 3 main characters are from Sweden, Germany and France.
The reason for making this thread is because I wanted to pitch my idea to PewDiePie... I was thinking about how it would be cool to gather some of the "biggest" YouTube gamers /celebs and make a movie based on this story of mine. I know that PDP is close with "Smosh" so he could easily discuss the idea with them and other YouTubers.
As for the story, it revolves around friendship, comedy and games. First mention of zombies comes only at the half of the book. A free, 11000 word sample from the book is available on my Facebook page if anybody wishes to check it out (it would be great if you could also "like" my page).
