I just manage to move my arm and take the needle out, but just pass out.

After hearing some weird noises, I ran back to where James was to find him on the floor, with Aqua beside him.

"Is he okay??"

I dragged out my sythe. "There's no need to do that. I know James."

I wake up with a jump.

"W-w-w-wha happened...? I feel shaky and ill..."

*Suddenly wakes up with big treeant steps shaking the forest*...

*Raze grabs his head as he feels a lot of pain suddenly* Dammnit... why ... *he bites his lower lip as the pain intensifies*

Name: Cyrus Rhodes
Race: Nephilim (half angel, half demon)
Appearance: Pale skin, heterochromia (right eye orange, left eye blue), tall, slim, long dark hair, narrow face, clothes: think mad hatter.
Personality: Incredibly selfish and mistrustful, though ferociously loyal to friends. Has a strong dislike for typically evil supernatural creatures, especially demons and vampires.

Abilites: Superhuman strength, fast healing factor, wings (one black one white) hidden under his coat most of the time, can detect the presence of any supernatural beings, magically swap places with people (not objects)

Weapons: A grey broadsword, alongside anything he can find.

A few bright shards of light flashed past his head as he scrambled through the plants that littered the forest floor. The footsteps and shouts behind him grew louder by the second as they came closer and closer. Cyrus had been running for almost as hour now, his pace only slowing once he reached the edge of the treeline. He didn't know how the humans had caught his trail; he was always so scrupulous in making sure not to leave any evidence of his presence when he had to move through towns. And yet here he was, being hunted like game by more humans than he dared to face alone. Cyrus' eyes widened. There were more people like him nearby. Not Nephilim, but not human either. He sprinted in their direction, hoping to find safety in numbers, or at the very least, someone else to throw into harms way to save himself.

After hearing a lot of commotion from outside, I lauched myself out of the nearest window, and glided down to where I heard the exessive amount noise coming from. I saw a nephilim running from a group of humans, heading straight to us.

"Nice going, dickhead!", I called, "you've lead them straight to us!"

I withdrew my sythe and sped towards the humans, and began to tear them apart, blood splattering everywhere.

"Don't just stand there, half breed! HELP!"

A demon. Depsite his views on them, he should really assist the person keeping bloodthirsty humans off his back. "Half breed," he muttered. A polite as any demon he'd met, then.
Cyrus drew his broadsword and charged into the fray, cleaving humans limb from limb - perhaps not with the visceral glee of the demon, but effective nonetheless.

After clearing out the group of attackers, I wiped the blood off of my forehead, and then extended the bloodied hand towards my temporary partner.

"Name?", I asked, bluntly.

Cyrus sheathed his sword and stared at the demon's outstreched hand. He'd spent most of his life actually hunting demons, so this was kind of surreal. He gingerly shook it.
"Your's first..."

I stepped back and bowed sarcastically, a wide grin spread across my face.

"I'm Tenshi, grand daughter of the devil."

Grand daughter to the Devil himself. Cyrus wonderd how much good karma he would get if he were to just drive his sword through her heart right now. Probably a lot, in his books. He rolled his eyes at her answer and resolved to leave that decision to later - saving his life had earned her at least a little longer.

"My name is Cyrus."

"Well, hello Cyrus. Thanks for the help earlier. So, where are you headed next?"

"...No problem..." he replied. Her change of tone was somewhat jarring.
"Depends..."

"Depends on what?"
