      Notes:

For now, I will be taking in anybody who wants to join, but if this gets too popular, I will have to limit the amount of entries to a maximum of 9.

Yes, it is possible to meet other's characters. Also, I have added a system below for how stats work in game.

      -------------------------------------
      Epic Fantasy RPG
      -------------------------------------

      Background
Epic Fantasy RPG is about forming your hero from meager beginnings. Through trials and ordeals created by your "DM" (known as a Creator here), you will create a unique story through which you will guide your character to become what you wish. Want to make an Elven rogue/mage? A human blood mage/necromancer? A minotaur? Go for it! Just follow the rules and let your imagination take you on your journey of epicness.

      Character Sheet
This is a template for you to use. Make sure to copy/paste an updated version in every post you make.
Note--You start of will 20 skill points, which you can put into Hit Points...Agility. One skill point allotted to Hit Points or Energy gives +5. You must put at least 1 point in every attribute.
Edit: Strength is the flat damage you deal. Weapons have multipliers that affect your damage (weapons may also have special effects).
Defense is the flat amount of reduction in damage you take. Armor has multipliers that affect your damage reduction (and may also have special effects).
Agility is your ability to hit the target and avoid being hit; it also may affect circumstances you come across (such as jumping across a pit or running away). In the event of a battle, every point of agility that you have more/less than the opponent is equivalent to a 5% chance to be hit/hit. Example (ignoring defense):
      You: 20HP, 1 STR, 20 agility
      Enemy: 20HP, 1 STR, 5 agility
You have 100% to hit the enemy, while enemy has 25% chance to hit you.
Result: You kill the enemy and take 5 damage.
      ---------------------------------------------
      Name:
      Race:
      Target Class: (optional)

      Level: 1 ~Exp 0/20~
Hit Points: (Your vitality--x5 amount of skillpoints)
Energy: (Your mana/stamina--x5 amount of skillpoints)
Strength: (Your ability to deal damage)
Defense: (Your ability to resist damage)
      Agility: (Your speed in battle)
NOTE: These equips and items are default. You cannot change them at the beginning of the story, however the DM (That would be me) will grant you new items as you progress.
      Equip: Stick (weapon)
Inventory (small bag): crust of bread (1/20 slots)
      Pets: n/a
      ---------------------------------------------

An example of a character sheet. Your character doesn't need a biography. And in fact it would be better to keep it a secret, and you can hint toward it in many ways throughout the course of the RPG.

      ---------------------------------------------
      Name: John Smith
      Race: Human
      Target Class: Rogue

      Level: 1 ~Exp 0/20~
      Hit Points: 15/15
      Energy: 15/15
      Strength: 4
      Defense: 4
      Agility: 6

      Equip: Stick (weapon)
Inventory (small bag): crust of bread (1/20 slots)
      Pets: n/a
      ---------------------------------------------
      Story Start
Grasping your stick, you look around. Apparently, you have fallen into a hole and have been out for some time. Of your past, you remember little. You feel a rough sensation on your head. Above you, the moon gives you a little bit of light, but it is too dark to see around you. What will you do?

      Example:
      Display Spoiler
      ---------------------------------------------
      Name: John Smith
      Race: Human
      Target Class: Rogue

      Level: 1 ~Exp 0/20~
      Hit Points: 15/15
      Energy: 15/15
      Strength: 4
      Defense: 4
      Agility: 6

      Equip: Stick (weapon)
Inventory (small bag): crust of bread (1/20 slots)
      Pets: n/a
      ---------------------------------------------
I feel around the hole for signs of crevices to aid me in climbing up to the surface.

To which the DM would respond:

The stone surface of the hole is far too smooth to find somewhere to grasp on to. However, As you feel around the cold stone surface, your hand suddenly reaches empty air. There is a dark passageway leading down below. Strangely, there are stairs leading down. What will you do?

      So on and so forth.
Hello. I'm sure you're all wondering why you're reading this. Likely because you thought this would be something interesting. I am going to tell you right now that you might have made the correct decision if not for the fact that trusting strangers is something your parents told you not to do when you were a kid. You should always, always listen to your parents on every single issue ever. Therefore I regret to inform you that reading this was a complete waste of your time.

    • OOC: Edited for better comprehension, and an obligatory bump. I promise this will be loads of fun, guys. Please don't be shy to get involved. ^^
