Having problems while making a YT backround

Sup bros, I'm having some trouble while making a youtube backround, the size of the image is more than 1mb, and all I have in that backround is few pictures few brushes and stuff like that ,do u know how to lover the size of the image? P.S. i've tryed doing it to JPG file,still over 1mb. Any ideas ? :s

Try lowering the usage of colors.
Try to lower the quality while exporting to jpeg
Use a proper template.

The colors are basically black n white (except the pictures)
All pictures are in Jpeg and when u put them all together they weigh about 0.3Mb
Template is really good

Maybe the brushes that I'm using weights a lot? I downloaded those from internet

it depends on the quality of the brush, i.e. if it's got transparency and stuff like that, it tends to increase the size. you said you tried JPEG, have you tried using different qualities of jpeg? you can do that in photoshop, it even previews what the image size will be.

you can try doing a gif...but the quality is a little shitty then

open the project file and lower the quality (if youre using photoshop)
