What was implied in my choice of words was that Diablo III is much more "casual" than the II. Like a lego game.

hmm cant really say as i havent really played both of em, but it did sound like diablo 3 is a bad game, being casual doesnt exactly make it a bad game

Compared to the II and if the III was supposed to stay in the same genre as the II, it is worse considering the wait. More than 10 years. It's my opinion, I've been disappointed. Diablo on PS3 and Xbox? Seriously? I guess the genre is dead and now it's just MMOs.

hmm the 10 year wait truly is inexcusable bt it could be worse, its a possibility they might have tuned down the game standards since they made it availale for oother plataforms(al though i think they should have given a bit more for pc users) i really cant say i disagree with expanding to other plataforms. And it was a single shitty sequel dont say an entire genre is dead yet!

The Hack n slash genre isn't as juicy as it was before. Now it's WoW and even that one is dying. If a game isn't on ps4 or xbox and isn't an indie game, it's pretty much dead. R.I.P Diablo 2 battle.net multiplayer. I loved your cow levels m8. Cya in the next one bruh.

welp you never know theres always a faint hope, people say text based rpg are dead but if you look for it there still are some, ips die all the time

Yeah but text based rpg are small, indie devs can easily make one. It would be harder to do a "diablo-like" game. There's Rogue Legacy which is more or less a hack n slash but not in the same way. Eh still a great game.

hmm what about a game like dinasty warriors? ill admit it doesnt have that rpg feel to it but its a pretty strong hack and slash franchise

It's good yeah but it's not the same feeling. I guess if I want to have that feeling, I'll just play Diablo 2, that's what I do. 16 years old and still the best in its category.
