To be honest, I'm fed up with this. The userbase collectively seems to have little respect for anyone that doesn't think exactly like them, and that is one thing I can't stand.

Maybe I've just been spoiled by the MSPA forums, maybe I'm not looking in the right places, I don't know.
All I do know is that the one time I've tried to engage in a rational discussion over a contested issue, it was more like me talking at a brick wall with pornographic graffiti on it than an actual conversation. The other guy (ain't gonna name names) has admitted that he was trolling, but I still think my point stands. Looking elsewhere, I don't really see anything that can dispute that. Case in point, this thread made specifically so that someone would have an outlet to rage pointlessly and throw in a few insults to random people. Again, maybe I'm just not looking in the right places.

I'd love to be able to talk to someone who can actually show respect for those who disagree with them, but I'm not really getting any of that here so far, so I'm considering either deleting my account, or if that's not possible, getting a permaban with no fuss from an admin who would be willing.

Really I'm only making this thread because I need an outlet, and with any luck, someone nice to talk to about this who's willing to back up their opinions.

To be honest, it was more written in the heat of the moment, and I didn't truly mean that. I need to learn to stop doing that; I pretty much always go back on what I say then.

I guess it was a bit helpful, though. Anyway, I left for half an hour to read a book and I'm feeling like this thread was mostly a waste of time. Thanks anyway though.
