Hello there everyone, I recommend the game "Vampires Dawn: Reign of Blood". It is an adventure/horror game that uses RPG Maker to run it.
STORY: The story is told by a grandfather to his grandson as a bedtime story, and it involves 3 people: Valnar, Asgar, and Alaine, who are investigating the re-emergence of the long-extinct vampires, and the murder of Valnar's girlfriend, Aysha, at the hands of one such vampire. Throughout the story, the 3 start to reveal sides of themselves to each other that the others would have never expected, while others come too close to the enemy to be safe. Vengeance, betrayal, and lost love entangle all fibers of the story.
GAMEPLAY: The game works by exploring an open world by following clues that are learned through dialogue and discovery, as there is no hand-holding by the game itself, so it will help greatly to pay attention to the story and your surroundings. Occasionally you will encounter enemies with your party of 3, and the combat is turn-based. This combat is supplemented by learning new attacks and spells, as well as various other abilities that range from defensive, to aiding things such as travel around the world. There are tons of secret items, locations, and passages. It will help greatly to interact with anything that looks out of place. There is a morality system in the game, and depending on the choices you make (i.e. the people you choose to kill and the extra side objectives you choose to complete) will determine with of the 5 different endings you can get. There is a save-whenever-you-want system, which is accessed by the hitting the escape key. It is also not a short game, and is usually at a minimum of 30 hours if you power straight through.
The game contains some strong language and pixelated violence.
