How to record your screen with no lag??

Hi everybody:P
I have a question:
I want to record my gameplay as well, but I have tryed fraps, camstudio and bandicam. I have actually tryed fraps on my dad's laptop (HP Pavillion g6) and it works great. But now I got my laptop (HP Pavillion g7) and Fraps and Bandicam lags a lot. is there another recording program that I can use that DOESN'T LAG on my computer

Tis is my proccessor and stuff:

Intel Core i5-2430M

2.4 GHz

AMD Radeon 6470M

I personally use FRAPS. Try closing some un-needed processes using Task Manager. They're aren't that many other GOOD screen capture programs out there. Try fiddling around with the settings in Camtasia Recorder. That's what I use to record my Pokemon Let's play. (Because FRAPS doesn't detect that certain Emulator) I hope this helped, even slightly!

Bandicam and Fraps.

I don't think it's the fault of the recording software; maybe it's the games themselves?

Try giving more priority to the recording software and the game? Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Processes Tab -> Right click on the one you want -> Set Priority to High

Try also lowering the display settings of some games if possible.

with no lag...reduce the graphics in game that should do it now i dont know what else you could do
and yeah fraps is good for it

Oh yes and I forgot: I want to record Amnesia. I have tried to lower the graphics but it lags to much

grab a camera , or cellphone or even a potato, and just record your monitor , then :thumbup:

Amnesia is not a good game to be recording. Even on low settings, I've had problems with it.

Maybe your computer is overheating and is trying to compensate by lowering frame rate? Did you try increasing priority like I suggested earlier?

If you can't record games on lowest settings for game AND recording software , then I suggest you not to record or buy a better pc (or parts for your pc)

For me to record amnesia, I used XSplit but had to have it in windowed 1280x1152 (native is 1280x1024). It didn't lag at all.

using your phone always helps, gives top notch quality,

try to hold it still though. And shake when something fun happens, because thats exciting.

don't forget to only record 25% of the screen,

^LOL. I was about to try that on my dinosaur laptp.xD

@topic maker: Just tweak the settings on Bandicam and in the game. Try to set it on window mode too.

Yes, but the options on it allow you to either connect to a twitch/livestream/justin account, Or local record, the file is saved in the xsplit video folder ready to upload.

You most go to options and change from full screen to a window. That is the easiest way
