I have noticed lately that when i play music in the background while playing games my performance change depending on different genre and artist.

For example:

Heroes of newearth i play best while listening to "His Infernal Majesty aka H.I.M.

but when i play battlefield it goes better with muse or u2.

same with halo 4, i play that better while listening to old halo soundtracks.

Am I the only one that is like this?
Or do you guys also play better with certain music?
