Hello everybody! I have a problem. When I record my amnesia gameplay with FRAPS, the ending footage comes out really dark. If you watch my videos, Amnesia Part 1 is very dark. I am forced to apply a brightness effect on it before i render it. The only problem being, When i edit the videos with Sony Vegas Pro, the video in the preview channel does NOT appear dark. But at a perfect lighting. So, it is very hard to find the right lighting for the videos. Does anybody know what is wrong? How to fix the problem? Or how I may fix Vegas Pro to show the video that is actually being rendered? Thank you.
FRAPS recording gameplay extremely dark. (Sony Vegas Pro)

What format do you render out in?
Once I started renering out into MP4 I've had the same "issue" in vegas.
It's fixed pretty simply by adjusting brightness to the FRAPS track. I just up Sony Brightness to .06. That brings it back to about normal.
I don't have this issue in WMV. but MP4 is the way to go -

I would stick with MP4. -
I've had this problem before also. I just started using Movie maker instead of Sony Vegas, It seems to be quite a bit brighter.
