I just picked up my first webcam to begin doing lets plays and couldn't find any older recommended versions. So I snagged a "Logitech c920" and it looked like it was gonna work great. However I've come across a bit of a snag. Whenever I try and record video of 720p or higher it gives me the error: "Logitech launcher_main.exe has stopped working".

Now I've looked on their support website, and it's been all but helpful. Pretty vague tips on fixing it or stuff like "clean rebooting".

So I was wondering if anyone was finding themselves in a similar situation or had any tips on handling this sort of error. Not that I can't live with 480 recording of myself, it's just that I paid for a product that could do more than that.

Well, I feel a bit silly now. I went and uninstalled everything and I unplugged/replugged the camera in to try and get it to initiate the installation and it won't go. I'm not sure how I can activate it or what to do now.

I just went to their website and found a download link to my webcam's software. Currently installing, will see how it goes. Thank you though, software came with the cam.

*edit*: installed with website software, I don't have as many features as it came with but it works now. (and I wasn't going to use those features anyway)
