PewDiePie has changed to the worse! :(

A boring pewdiepie is better than a fake pewdiepie. Like Cirno said, most of what Pewdiepie acts is more than likely gonna be a fake reaction. I'm pretty sure he even showed his porn history on purpose.

I don't believe that he changed due to his fame.

Also, he didn't change THAT much to have a discussion about that.

He simply got bored of the games he was playing, and changed his direction a bit

I also recall a comment to the ''haters'' about him making money. Though most bro's will just say he was mad.

Like a few people have said already...doing the same thing over and over will get old. There is only so much originality you can keep within games. Eventually it will be even more like the same thing over and over and there will be even more talk about this.

It's wierd to me, that people watch youtuber (mostly) only because they think they're funny n' shit.

When I find a interesting youtuber, I dont watch him/her only because he/she is funny. I watch (fuck it I will only write he) him, because I want to see how certain things affect him (Fame n' that kinda shit). There's many more reasons why I watch some youtubers. Here's a few:
-He maybe likes same things as me. (FPS, gaming etc.)
-I think its entertaining to watch him. (I dont get bored while I watch his videos.)
-He has good quality. (He doesn't upload shit what he did drunk n' shit.)

So, I think people should get more reasons to watch a youtuber. Not only, because he/she is funny.

I've only been watching Pewd's videos for a couple months now, but i've worked from is older stuff to his newer, and i don't understand what has people so up tight.

People have talked how he "fakes" is conversation's because he is not actually scared or stressed out by the game he is playing. This is probably due to the fact for one, there aren't a ton of really worth while horror games to play/easy to get ahold of given that its a suffering genre. I believe that he's broadening his horizons in the game community but still trying to make things enjoyable. Do you stop to think how much worse it would be if he played his games, while video tapping, and said very little and just stared at the screen? He can only go off of what has been entertaining for his viewers as well as trying different approaches.

I feel bad for him when he does try hard to been entertaining and rather than people giving more positive and encouraging feed back to him, he gets bashed in a forum. If you don't like how he's "changed" then you don't have to continue to watch. But if you do keep watching, try to take it from a different point of view.

Ok, so here goes my turn of speech...

When i read the 1st post, i got rather upset bout it (no offense to anyone who disagrees). I REALLY disagree with what the OP has said, i dont think people are getting less entertained as he has just reached 3 million subs, which kinda defy;s the point of people getting less entertained.


And i agree with ProjectMisfit, a boring pewds is bette than a fake pewds,

I also disagree with the fact that he is getting 'cocky', he is NOT getting cocky, he is developing his personality on YouTube,
I think that entertain the idea that he is a 'clown' is a okish, as most people now these days like 'clowns-on-youtube' (Correct me if i am wrong)

and doesn't take any horror story seriously

But who does? Do you? If you think about it, its pretty fri*king boring just watching a 'serious' play through, serious is boring imo.
I also think that when pewds stops for 30 secs and talks to mr.chair, i find it funny. it makes me laugh, and supposable makes 3 million other people laugh too........

I'll start my post with a question. Why do you watch a specific YouTuber?
Is it because you like the content he/she produces? Is it you want to have a good laugh, a good scare, a good cry?
For one, if i'm to watch a youtuber, he has to be well known, known to make my friends laugh (which is a likelyhood to make me laugh [i'm such a generic stereotype]), and to keep us laugh.
But lately i have been noticing a change in the way he potrayed what a gamer youtuber is, slowly declining in enjoyment.
It's all because we don't see his 'i'm going to play a horror game for my viewers to enjoy', it's now ' i'm going to just play this game because i believe that they will enjoy it, but at least keep happy wheels in the mix to keep it classic.'
But don't just lose hope in pewdie yet! With the release of Amnesia: A Machine Of Pigs coming out after the new year. We should see pewdie's original side come back out again, back to his original self.

Now, no, i don't sound like an advertiser for pewdie, but this is what i honestly beileve. At the release of A:AMFP, pewdie will have no clue what to expect of the monsters, gameplay, morale in the new game, hopefully making a new experience for himself and us all.
I blame custom stories that people had made for pewdie, he began to learn where the scares are most likely to appear. Teleporting naked guys appear in a long hallway, pewdies hatred for walking down corridors, as bros may break out of the door at any time and chase him. And, sticking with the idea of a freak scare, bros popping out of the closet. These three key ideas is what made a custom story in A:TDD scary, and pewdie has been exposed to these to often, and so have we. Making it not as scary as what it was maybe a few months ago.

Talking on my behalf now, i really can't honestly care about how he becomes popular. He's now in the top 10 most subbed youtubers of all time, with just over 3 million subscribers, and i love him. He's is funny and therefore, makes me laugh, He scares me and therefore, makes me shit my pants, while potentially shitting himself too. I don't mind his changes, while you may do, i find pewdie a privillege.

Concluding argument: Wait till A machine for pigs comes out, and then he plays it. If you don't see a change in the way pewdie reacts to scares, that he stays the same, yelling out BARRELS! and talking to inanimate object all of the time and sidetracking from the storyline, then i think your time spent watching pewdie has passed, you have growing old of his channel and his ways, which is a massive shame for you . Yes, we do love his old comment, but like pewdie did say, "I don't like playing the same stuff, as it gets boring after a while, and isn't enjoyable for me, maybe for you, but i want to enjoy my time here".

I still like him. He is an excellent entertainer. Plain and simple

Don't know that I really need to say much else.

I think what has changed is when he first started he was following trends like playing
stank ass COD and Minecraft, just look at his very first videos.

Then I think he really started to take off with Amnesia and Happy Wheels, I'm not really
sure coz I subbed when he had around a couple hundred thousand subs.

Now he has 3 million subs so he can play whatever he wants coz he knows at least
hundreds of thousands of his subs will watch each video, no matter what he uploads.

Me personally I don't care about the difference between him then and right now, I'm more
interested in Felix the person than Pewdie the Youtuber coz he has a sweet ass life, he
makes gaming videos for a living (know matter what some people think of them or what
he does while recording), & he lives with his girlfriend's family who he met through Facebook.

Don't some of us wish we had even 1/10th of that?

Bro's that have been watching pewdiepie for a lifetimelong time have now grown to think that your worl revloves around pewds, and that some long time bro's start to think that now he has 'changed' and dosnt play the same games, they derserve some sort of explanation as to why he does not play the old games that pewds has personally grown abso-fucking-lutly bored of......i disagree. (sorry if im not making alot of sense)

I have a split opinion about the ''old'' and the ''new'' pewds.

As many of you already said, the old pewds was serious with the game and just derped around when he was absolutely scared, which was really funny to watch.
To me, the ''new'' pewds still has that same thing and his newer videos are still fun to watch even though sometimes he just derps around a little too much.
What I like though, is that you can see he is having fun with the game, so it's not that much of a bother to me at times.

You have to understand though, that his channel was ( or maybe still is ) the fastest growing channel on YouTube which means that he has a lot of subscribers to satisfy which can be really hard at times.
I still really do respect his work and that he is able to do all of this for us full time while still being able to do some things to relax with the little of private time he has.

It's true that the old pewds is more fun to watch because his reactions were more spontanious, but the fact that he still can have fun with whatever game we make him play is showing in his videos just makes me happy.

Oh, i get it. sorry, had a bit of a dumb moment... I know he is a busy man, i was just thinking about the fact that i have seen in comments that most people think that they can boss him..... And i just thought that the people that do that should give more respect to pewds, cuz he works hard

I like Pewdie's newer stuff better in a lot of cases, but my favorite videos of his aren't the horror ones, but stuff like Heavy Rain and Shadow of the Colossus. He has changed, just like everyone else does, which is okay with me.

Well everyone can have their own opinion, but the thing about the horror games is Pewds gets bored of them after doing it for a while. Like he said in one of his videos he doesn't upload that much Happy Wheels anymore because he's been doing it for a long time, and it's starting to bore him. I'll support him the way he is, but understand sometimes horror games just get old.
