  • Advertising?

    Hey Bros

    I've got another question.

How does Pewdiepie earn money from Youtube?
I mean on his channel, there is no Advertisement also on Twitter I see no (If that's even possible xD)
Does he earn money from youtube direct? I don't think that's possible.
I really wanna know that and I'm thankful for any help :D

    Thanky you Bros! *Brofist*

  • When you watch his videos, you'll notice a little advertisment pops up while you're watching. Somewhere near the beginning. [unless you had adblock or some shit]

It is marked by a yellow bar in the YouTube video timeline thing.

Revenue is generated by views of the video. The advertisments, if I'm not wrong.

Oh yeah now that you say it, I remember these little advertisements on the bottom of the window at the beginning.

When does a Partnership from Youtube start? above 100'000 subscribers?

I suggest you to do some research , since your lack kind of disturbs me.

Pewdiepie is partnered with a gaming network which allows him to moneytize his gaming videos which are otherwise not possible or even might impact Youtube's ToS.

And subs has nothing to do with partnership unless you are applying for Yeousch or Curse or whatever , they mainly watch your content and the amount of views you get daily from it.

  • Pewdiepie started his youtube hobby as a career when he had 25K subs. Getting a partnership before was a lot tougher compared today which made me a little bit bitter.xD But anyway, the advertisements you can see before, after and in the video is generating income then it will send it to Machinima, which is the gaming network he's partnered with, then cut the income then send it to Pewdiepie ( the cut depends on the contract Pewdiepie signed.)
  • Youtube Partners are paid via the Adsense program

Partners get paid by the advertisers, but under certain circumstances.

For the Ads that play before the video the viewer must either watch the entire ad or watch at least 30 seconds of the ad (whichever is shorter) for the owner of the Video to get money put into their AdSense account from the advertiser. Also there can be mid video ads that appear at the bottom of the video. I believe the video maker gets paid for those advertisements if they are clicked, but they may also be simply not x'ing out of them that allows the Youtube partner to be paid.

    I did some reading since I recently became a partner :P 8)

Now there is probably a lot more nuance behind how the whole process works than what I gave you, but this is the basic outline that I've read up on.

Lol , I don't have adsense, am partner and I DO get paid.

Basically if you partner with a network you don't need adsense (adsense makes the partnering procedure actually harder). You will get paid by the company which owns the network.
