Hello.
I have been wanting to make my own indie game for a while now, but just never got around to it. But, now that I have the time, I want to attempt to make one.
I am a big fanboy for Doom. One of my favorite games. My favorite part is the graphics. I love 'em.
I want to make an indie game with those graphics. Others have them too, such as the game Cry just played ( youtube.com/watch?v=cih-bCkTc_M&feature=g-all ) and other indie games. I messaged the creator of that game, asking what software he used, but I have yet to hear back.
Point: I would like to know if anyone knew any software I could use to make a game with similar graphics to DooM, ImScared, the original Slenderman and/or the game Home.
I'm not sure about the story of my game yet. No, it's not just gonna be jumpscares, although I imagine it will have a few, if I carry this out. So, if you have any reccomendations, I'd love to hear 'em.

Not sure how to explain it. Just look at DooM's graphics, that's what I mean.

I shall. Thank you, good sir. I am also messing with RPG maker, which is probably a lot more basic.
