Just wanted to quickly introduce myself.
My name is Kristian, and I'm a indie game developer who originally came here to promote a game that I've been working on for two years now.
But I decided to not be too much of a douche bag, and try to participate a bit in the general discussion as well.

I'll probably be a bit busy with the aforementioned game (I program btw). But I'll be sure to check up on this thread and return any and all greetings with warm and hilarious responses!

Alternatively, the beta (including network, which I'm working on), is starting in a couple of weeks time, for pledgers.

Yeah, I can understand the reasoning behind that posting that way though - because as a an indie, you really have no alternative in getting some attentions.
But there's no reason not to at least try and engage the community. Just link-dropping leads to nothing besides a bad reputation in my opinion.
