Hey man!
Got a really old school PC game for you, it's called Realms of the Haunting. It's basicly as old school as you can get, it doesn't have that many jump scares it instead focuses on atmosphere and being really creepy.
It was around the time when PC games, certainly horror games were just starting to take off and game companies were experimenting with the Tech they had, most games back then had real actors playing out the cut scenes rather than having pixalated models.
Because the games graphics are so bad they had to put more effort into the actual game, to really immersse you into the experiance, I will admit that the cutscenes are a bit cheesy but the game itself is really where it's at.
The story is your father has died and he has given you these stranges stones that give you nightmares about a house and some other creepy images! So you go to this abbadoned mansion to try and figure out what drove your father away from you and why he has sent you these strange stones.
Here is a link of some gameplay youtube.com/watch?v=Jq7tCjrDN9o You can get rid of the border so it's more fullscreen. The guy does an ok job at it but it just gives a quick demo of what to expect.
The best thing about this, other than it being a very unique game that not many know of it's very very cheap! A grand total of four euros!
The length of this game is preety long, back then it came on four discs so there is alot of content here, here is a link of the site you can get it from gog.com/gamecard/realms_of_the_haunting (Good old games also have to the moon btw
)
Anyway, hope you have time to read this after recording The Walking dead, looking forward to watching it!
