So I was looking around for some unknown horror games to play when I found this gem. Still in development as an experimental, psychological horror game. After donating toward their project (I back a lot of stuff that I'd like to see released, good horror counts) I ended up talking to the lead developer behind the project about possibly doing a playthrough review of the first level, and she gave permission and urged it on in hopes of getting more people interested in donating and...seriously...CHECK THIS NIGHTMARE FUEL OUT D: OMG.

I hate to say it..but Slender, it's the atmosphere of the game that was more terrifying for me.

Yeah, I can get that

It's the atmosphere of being constantly tense, waiting for him to pop out and jump-scare you! I like more subtle, psychological, slow-building stuff myself!

Sadly at the moment I don't think they have a definite release date, as they've released the first level (which you can get by donating) in an effort to build enthusiasm and collect their donation goal for the whole game. I seriously hope they get what they need, I want to play the rest of it so bad D:
