this song ALWAYS makes me cry, because it has 3 different scenarios. A husband going on a deployment, saying goodbye to his wife and unborn child. An elderly man whose wife has died and he's going through her things. A young teenage couple, where the mom of the girl hates her boyfriend, and rips her away from him. My husband is in the army, and when he was deployed, I was lost. I dread death...The loss of someone I love is horrible.

Well lots of movie songs got me emotional, especially if they put them in proper scenes.
For example in I am Legend when Smith needs to kill his dog after she was bitten.

Just kidding.

Breaking Benjamin is relatable sometimes, and a lot of other rock songs. Rock just gets me going in general.

It actually wasn't between me and an ex or something. It was a friend. A good friend. Maybe 'too' good of a friend. I had a boyfriend at the time and I met this guy online. He was amazing and I later found out he was ±30 years older than I was, which was a pretty big shock. We had some pretty... 'weird' conversations, if you get what I mean. (Yeah. Like that.)
I don't know what was wrong with me. At a certain moment, I just decided we couldn't continue like this. I had told my boyfriend all about it and he was very understanding(I don't know why though, I would've probably beaten the sh*t out of myself, haha.). After that conversation, I send a very, VERY long email to that 'friend', about how we couldn't continue anymore. I searched for a song to fit it and these lyrics were just... perfect. So was the overall atmosphere of the song.
I still think about that friend sometimes, but I'd never contact him again. Never.
