    If you're not happy about it, dont look like an attention seeker on the internet. I'm sorry to know what happened to you, but we all face our own personal battles, pains and scars. I can ramble on and on about the hardships I've experienced but why would I even bother? Do you really think anyone will care about my past? You're looking very pathetic by telling the world that you're some victim, what are you seeking to accomplish here? Acceptance? A letter of apology? . (Sorry but I'm just throwing out my opinion in full honesty, whether it suits anyone's fragile feelings or not)

Start looking at us as equal men instead of deranged psychopaths and maybe then i would appreciate your opinion rather than what YOU want and what we should and should not joke about.

    I'm a respectable person, although I am a bit crazy at times, I can be serious when need be.

    I wouldn't exactly say an apology would shut the wounds per se, and many of his viewers wouldn't exactly agree upon something like that, as stated above by a few people.
    Another thing I would like to say is that Pewdie doesn't mean it in a harsh way, which a few interpret it as. Sure, rape isn't exactly funny but some do shrug it off as a popular joke.
    Sometimes, the internet is a horrible place, filled with terrible things.
    You have to get over it sadly, and then look at the brighter side of everything. ^^ That's how I look at things normally.

    I think I'm done for now with this conversation, I'm rather tired from all the things that went on at school today...

    You even said yourself, Leafy, that you sometimes have to look at the brighter side of everything, right? There may not be a brighter side to everything so that's why jokes were invented, surely! Sometimes laughter is the only thing to get through dark times, however it does seem a bit pointless to go to the effort of coming onto a forum about pewdiepie to tell us all that he was raped and found a joke offensive. He could have found Felix's address instead and sent an angry letter :|

I'm not good with words myself and I don't feel like I should add anything to what they say... but I just wanted to say sorry for what you've been through. And no I'm not trying to be condescending towards you. And I hope someday you can just shrug/ignore what people 'joke about'... even if Pewdie stopped making all these jokes... dude, there's millions of other people out there. You can't get everyone to stop, you just can't, no matter how one would want them to stop.

  • First, I'm not good with words and my English isn't perfect, so I can't add much. So, yeah this is what I gotta say:
    I'm really sorry to everything that happens to you. It's the internet mate, full of dark / crude jokes, face it! If you can't you have to learn to face it or leave the internet. So, what's the point of this thread? You try to stop him to make that kind of jokes? You can't stop him, he do whatever he wants, That's how he make peoples laugh.

    I know, not every humor is funny to everyone, I really respect your opinion about what you think about PewDie's joke. But sometimes, you should think again before giving your opinion or you will just make fun of yourself, like this.

    If you don't like his jokes and feel offended by his jokes, just leave him, forget him, don't watch his videos. Problem solved.

  • I didn't feel like reading big parts of the thread, most of it looked like pointlass bla bla anyways.
    I understand your concerns, but here's the thing: Pewide himself is running out of jokes easily, and having such a young fanbase he takes those kinda idiotic jokes, at least in the eyes of many rather mature people. I myself can't judge on his jokes lately directly, I haven't been watching his videos for a while now because I didn't feel like it, so I'm just relying on general knowledge and what I've read so far.
    I hate to say this, but: Pewdie has the same problem as Notch does. Rapid and sudden fame made both of these guys end up as a giant PR disaster, with little organization at the moment. I've experienced a few things that happened due to bad organization on his side, it wasn't even that hard to do, which ended up with me having to calm a lot of users and make some promises I probably can't even hold. That's just how it works with him. We've been criticizing that for a few months now, but nothing really changed, so yeah, I'll just go with this phrase:
    It's Pewdie, what do you expect.

    I have a couple of questions for you OP. First thing, why would you so aggressively jump on Pewdie for making these kinds of jokes? I am fairly certain you would see that Youtube is filled with equal amounts of different dark jokes.
    Second, are you one of those people that would think you would have to add an orange tip on a toy plastic gun because it looks dangerous?
    Third, I've seen a video of a guy being stuck in traffic and then jokingly pulls up his iPhone using a gun app to imitate shooting other people while screaming (If I can remember correctly.) profanities along with different racial slurs, why has no one spoken up like you have here to start a long debate? Oh yeah, that's right, it's a joke, it's all for funsies.

    Now, I don't mean to disrespect if these horrible events you speak of really happened, but learn things about the world. If a person has not experienced say, poverty or not being able to buy food every day, it may be hard for them to think about it and realize how crappy that situation is. That may result in them being able to take things for granted and joke about it, but even though they do so, they show sympathy and understanding and respect to people who are in that situation. That is unless they are complete tools. My point is, Pewdie has obviously not been in the same situation as you, so he hasn't had the option to think about it and actually imagine it seriously and then be horrified and scarred because of it. And since people have not judged him for making jokes about these situations it has become an everyday event or occurance for him to use these jokes if you want to call them that, just like mKeRix pointed out. But I can assure you, if you were to send a message to Pewdie and get a response, he would show nothing but respect towards you.

    Even though that might not happen, I am sure you can live on. Since you obviously dislike him you shouldn't have to care about an apology from him.

    I will say this again, I do not mean to be disrespectful towards you, I hope you had a nice read. If you want to discuss this further with people that are reasonable, feel free to PM me or the other people you would like to talk about this with.
