Vegas Pro Bandicam Audio RAGE. Halp.

I'm seriously stepping into the rage mode here. So I got the program now, yay. But it's just... HOW.

I looked at some helpful tutorials online and managed to slap together my little game play video and my facecam video... rendered... but there's no sound. I recorded the game play on Bandicam and the sound should be tied to the .avi right? D: And yes, the file has audio outside Vegas Pro... and yes the sounds are on in my computer.

But there's no audio track in Vegas Pro. Is it Vegas Pro who doesn't understand the Bandicam .avi or what?

I'm like... 97% close to making a actual ***** facecam video and then this.

Try using a video converter and convert the AVI to another format with a free converter.
I had some problems with that before and this solved it if i remember right :3

But the size... D: It'll go to like 6gb or something. I can of course try it maybe yeah... but but I'm confused since it SHOULD understand avi just fine... right? xD

Do a sample recording like so:

Record gameplay using Bandicam, Facecam using some software, and audio using Audacity [free]

And then, import the clips separately.

And try and see if that works. .-.

Use thje preset "Sony Vegas/ Adobe Premiere" for Bandicam.

That would help a lot.

Open bandicam -> video tab - > it's beside the settings.

BUT.

No, don't run. I still need you. Um. How do I cut the video/audio together? Don't say "U" cuz that didn't work...

S for Split but... also do you know what template/etc. settings I should use when rendering so the file size don't burst into like 5gb... *managed to burst a 18 second test video into 3gb* ... xD

Anyway, but overall major super mega thanks! I feel like now it's 99% closer to a successful facecam video! :3

Hey there! I just quickly made two screenshots that I hope answers your questions!

The first screenshot is the settings I've always used and never had any problems with, plus they look awesome on youtube!

And the second more or less explains how to group seperated audio and video (assuming that's what you mean?)

Sure telling the person to try a different preset is good, but that doesn't help them to understand WHY the issue is occuring. It has to do with the audio codec chosen for Bandicam. Vegas doesn't like to read the MPEG-1 L2 codec for some reason. A simple fix for that is changing the codec Bandicam records in to PCM.

I know that. But he didn't explain WHY Vegas wasn't accepting the audio, which is what I was giving insight on, seeing as the person was asking why the audio wasn't working.

OK! I managed to do my video

It has audio, it has facecam (and after 2 hours of rage it even matches the video lol)... it did blow up into 1.8gb in size and I have these weird black borders on the video so it looks like crap on YT fullscreen (I assume, it's still uploading for like 300 minutes lol)... but you know, we did it. :thumbsup:

It's Vegas Pro's problem. I, too, have a big problem because of that the first time I used Bandicam. Apparently, the preset with the audio codec is not compatible for editing.:) I don't get what you mean about cutting the video and audio together. You mean "to trim" it on Vegas Pro?

Um. Well, like... you have your audio and video track in Vegas, right? And when you click "S" it cuts/splits it in 2 pieces on the spot selected... but it only cuts one track - either the video or the audio. And I want to cut both on the same spot at the same time. I tried to click "U" since that's what this one tutorial suggested but it didn't do anything. Oh and yeah I had to add that meme since I look like that when asking these things... xD

Just right click the video and trim it.:) Highlight the part you want to trim. Right click it and add region then make a subclip.

I can help you around with the templates movie studio has many of the same abilities as Pro.

I don't... am I using templates when I just drag a .avi into the program? I thought templates are when you create something from scratch. I think I should just focus on how to get it to render my videos without 1) destroying the quality 2) but still keeping the file size not +5gb xD
