You have most likely seen some animated videos with PewDiePie dancing with a bro on japanese music or something similar (atleast you have seen the bro dancing in pewdie's intros) , but i personally think that like 70% doesn't know what MMD (MikuMikuDance) is nor where it is from (although its quite obvious X3)
There we go , now you know that the vocaloid community loves pewdiepie aswell (or atleast the majority of its users :3)
And you possibly didn't know that MMD is Kinect compatible aswell , well if you hack your kinect ofcourse (i don't think the kinect for PC is already out there) and it really decreases the time with animating and ends up in smoother animations + MMD is also capable of lipsyncing if you let it use a .VSQ file(thats the voice of a Vocaloid. although the engine suffers from physics and clipping errors sometimes , it is really easy to use and efficient.
Users also compete in challenges were you can win money etc. and some other stuff these videos are really well made and are worth to watched even once, after the challenge/competition (almost) all motion data goes open source for everyone to use !
(video below was originally a MMDCUP video)
So how does the bro end up in MMD? well let me tell you , it is done with hacking/cracking the game and port/edit the models and turn them into .MMD files , several games already have been hacked/cracked and some models where put into MMD and that results in some comical stuff
NOTE : some models are even made from scratch. (PewDiePie's model most likely is an edited KAITO model , which is a vocaloid :P)
Thats all folks , below are some of my favorite (and professional) vids done with MMD , but im done with explaining ,i hope you did enjoy or atleast know where this comes from :3

MikuMikuDance (ミクミクダンス MikuMikuDansu?), commonly abbreviated to MMD, is a freeware animation program that lets users animate and create 3D animation movies, originally produced for the Vocaloid character Hatsune Miku. The MikuMikuDance program itself was programmed by Yu Higuchi (HiguchiM) and has gone through significant upgrades since its creation. Its production was made as part of the VOCALOID Promotion Video Project (VPVP)
