just got steam, what to do.. o:

      You should play Ak47 on T side and M4A1 on CT side as primary. Always Desert Eagle as secondary (I think it's called Night Hawk or something in css). These are the standard weapons most people play in css. If you don't have enough money, play deagle only.
      You should try out every weapon. But these are "the best".

      AND PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME FOR THIS: Some Call of Duty. I always recommend the newest CoD, thats why I play mw3.
      It's a good game, but most of the players are just shit.. You just have to tolerate the flamers, the kiddies and the hackers.

      There are small daily sales, medium sales (MIDWEEK MADNESS and WEEKEND MADNESS) and big holiday sales (Summer Camp etc.) you should look for.

      This guy is correct the AK or the M4A1 depending on whether you are playing T's or CT's. The P90 is also pretty good, and for close quarter maps like Office the pump action shotgun comes in handy. Also remember to buy body armour and a helmet.

      how about all the mods you can play for it , those mods are awesome to the max! (only applies if you buy the normal HL1 one ,not the source one due to the fact the first halflife i mentioned runs on goldsrc while hl1:source runs on Source)

      From all the franchises i have played , i would say that the HL franchise is the best one with the story and such.

      The gamers wont leave steam for that, Cod is a slow game on pc on alot of pcs, And most people that play it also have other games.

      The gamers wont leave steam for that, Cod is a slow game on pc on alot of pcs, And most people that play it also have other games.
      They would at least be pissed xD and I if Steam did remove COD games, they would lose partnerships with major producers. And most of the people i see on steam only play COD and a few Mini-game type games.

      I'm not telling them to remove it, I'm not sayying its not getting them cash.

      As for me I would recommend...


      Garry's mod (I suggest on staying on single player or make your own server for the time being)


      Team Fortress 2
      Poker Night at the inventory (If you like a nice casual poker card game, it also has TF2 unlockables that you can win)
      AudioSurf
      Ridge Racer Unbounded (It's a solid good racing game)
      Half-Life (Now I'll make my opinion on this, it's not AS scary as you claim it to be, it's more action oriented with some puzzles here and there, but it's not as scary as Amnesia)
