ok so i bought camtasia just now and i tried recording a game play....sure it recorded me but not my game play. it just stayed on my desktop screen and never recorded my gameplay. i dont understand what's going on can someone explain it to me???

plus most of those things you have to pay for...i'm completely broke and i need a program that's completely free and that works. i've tried camtasia but it's only a 30 day trial thing. and what's bandicam???? is that completely free???
