My setup is Amd phenom II x6 which is a 6 core cpu that i overclocked to 4.25 ghz Sapphire radeon hd 6790 1GB gddr5 and i can play almost any game on highest settings on it and sapphire have no driver problems. 16 GB of RAM 120GB ssd drive for windows and 2TB for games and stuff cheap motherboard but still works like a charm I am really pleased with amd as long as you replace the original cpu fan that makes some noise after a while. I use playclaw which is an awesome program that doesn't make any fps drop at all for me and full hd recording you can check out my videos if you wanna see the quality and it cost 30 $ or something like that

I personally use playclaw. it only records mjpeg but you just need to render it. no lag or fps drops. I use it for all my videos. if my sound is low it's because my microphone stopped working. check out the quality youtube.com/user/VikingJEF have been using fraps for happy wheels tho
