in the Youtube settings there is an option to temperarily deattach your google+ page from your Youtube channel. It wil deattach it for a few weeks.

I myself find using a smartphone front facing camera the best option. You can see a preview on the phone screen and it's good quality. It's also very easy to upload to your computer. I know it's not what you asked for, thought maybe you like this idea.

If you've got a newer Nvidia graphics card you should try Shadowplay! It's a screenrecorder made by Nvidia which either records the last 20 minutes of you playing, so if you do something sweet you can rewind the footage and decide whether you want to save it. If you plan on doing lets plays I'd say Youtube, for sure. That way you're sure your audience won't miss a part of the game. I know you can view past broadcasts on Twitch, though I think it's less practical. However if you plan on doing 4 hours gaming sessions I'd go for Twitch.

I enjoy the gaming part, but also the editing part! Before I upload one of my video's I watch it through 3 times. The first time when I'm editing and cutting stuff, the second time after I've edited it before I render it (to make sure everything makes sense) and the third time I watch it the next day before uploading it. I really enjoy everything about it! From the second I start gaming, to the point were I see people are enjoying my video's. Getting lots of likes is SO SATISFYING!
