Guys, I'm ditching Unity for these reasons. 1. Mesh Colliders suck. 2. Shadows suck. 3. The sucky shadows lag like crazy. 4. No optimizations. 5. Need Realtime. 6. Need dat graphics. I'm switching to UDK.

I had a screenshot up earilier, just took it down. The first level, I'm still placing models, but here's a screenie of the outside. The outside isn't textured if you're wondering, on the inside. This isn't also like a 2D Game, so if I post the screenshot now it'll look weird. This is an older screenshot though, and it's only the first half. level1f.png

That was just a minor setback, because the whole game project got deleted. I had a backup. Thank god.

Depends on what type of video. Anything with special effects or anything, use Adobe After Effects for sure. Otherwise Sony Vegas is pretty good.

EDIT: Removed a bunch of crap... I was half asleep, sorry about that. Stick with Windows 7, dude. Unless, you get rid of that new GUI. Then Windows 8 is faster. But I think Windows 7 is better by far right now, and easier. Also, you might want to wait until the 8.1 update, where they give the option to remove metro. Best game ever: The Game of Life Lot's of plot twists, emotions, and it really surprises you sometimes. Graphics are freakin' AMAZING. It also might take a while to finish, because even I'm not done with it.

Best one ever would probably be GMOD, Garry's Mod. Only like 10 bucks on steam, and it has thousands of possibilities for games and maps, so it's essentially 10 bucks for hundreds of games.
