Easiest way in my opinion would be to have your start and stop for Fraps hotkeyed and have a timer set on a phone or clock. When the time goes off, just hit the hotkey to stop recording.

Alright, so I need a bit of help on this. Normally, if I record full screen, I use FRAPS. That's easy. Now, if I'm only recording part of the screen, I use Camtasia. Here's where the problem begins: When Camtasia records part of the screen, the video size is of course smaller.
