It's always good to start off with images to copy at first and then start researching different images to try to create your own. All the ones I've posted so far are completely from imagination with no direct source (I did use some images for reference on textures and such.)

Go for it To be honest, not a lot of people can teach art well; I have gone through many terrible teachers. The one I found now though is great and has been a professional artist for over 30 years. You can really learn some great techniques, and there is also quite a bit of technical parts of art sort of. Stuff like color theory, color harmonies, analogous colors, etc.

Sort of, I do a bit of classes. Many people think that you have to be born with artistic talent, but if you really work at it and draw a lot, it will end up looking good eventually. All my paintings that I have done are acrylic I do drawings as well, and seeing as I have tons of those, I may put them up in the future
