There is Cinefx Jashaka, free video editing software that is very similar to WMM. I think this one does accept all formats including .AVI . Here's a download link that I found through google. I've downloaded it myself and AVG didn't detect any viruses. sourceforge.net/projects/jahshakafx/

Learning how to produce music won't take a few days, It took me about a year or 2 to fully understand producing. If you need any help producing, I'd be more than happy to help you out I can also show you some samples of tracks that I have made.

This can happen during recordings. Yes it will cut, or lag the video for those seconds, but just edit them out later. I use both Fraps and Bandicam and encounter such problems during loading screens.
