Do what your heart tells you too, it can often be more reliable than the mind, in my opinion.. Personally, I don't think a facecam is really needed, unless it helps to make your channel more unique, or interesting. Pewdiepie, as one, uses a facecam in every video, which I don't mind, as I don't really look at the facecam, but it may annoy others. I must admit though, a lot of the people I know like Pewdiepie, not only for his videos, but for his looks...
