There is an application called iRec which is in Beta and allows you to record on your iPhone/iPad, but first you need to install Emu4iOS Store, when playing full screen games you need to toggle Assistive Touch otherwise it wont work. Other than that, iRec is very straightforward, simple, and works extremely well for showing off videos, it allows you to Record, Save and Export with no problem.

The application is still on brainstorming, he probably doesn't have any Developer yet so I would postpone that idea for now

In my opinion, if he EVER gets bored of doing what he does, or the fan losing some interest, he could probably start streaming, that brings a lot of genuine stuff that people cant see and he could still upload his VOD to youtube, actually, streaming wouldn't be a bad idea for him if you think about it
