Best anime ever... Wolf's Rain! hands down.. nothing has ever beaten that. however i highly regard Death Note, Dragon Drive and Tenjo Tenge as I remember them being some of the first anime's I really watched.

  • I used to get 3rd party claims a lot.. some times I could understand them (like using footage from a game trailer for example for a preview) and other times you get them from companies that clearly can't own the video. Generally you can argue fair use under most of them and you have about a 50/50 chance of the claim being released... Nintendo, Square Enix and Fox never released third party claims in my experience. Since being partnered I've not had the trouble, probably due to being able to clai…

  • So this will be posted in a few forums so I can be as diverse as possible.. but anyway onto the subject: I've been wanting to do a series taking more opinion split/controversial games and looking at every aspect... however I'm looking for people to share the views on the games as well, recording a few seconds of comments on the various aspects of the game I'm looking at in depth as well as the game as a whole. The plan is to find many people who both hate and love the game, more importantly howe…

What's exactly wrong with trying to have a series like a web show and having a title sequence. I have minor titles for my shows and a full sequence for my main show which I present like show. I'm not saying everyone needs one and I don't think they have much of a place for LPs and Vlogs for example. But they can help give a good impression of what your about to see and they can be catchy. I've even had people argue in favor of having cold openings before their titles start which i tried for whil…

  • I think for me both the end of Final Fantasy 10 and Mordins death in Mass effect 3 were enough.. i find their more impactful for me then most game deaths

  • I know my first 10 were all people I knew then over the first month or two I think I got another 10 who were my first 'actual' subscribers... but the following months I had videos featured on both Henshin Justice and Gametrailers which shot my subs up to 100 and since then I've gained 1-2 subs daily

I started it off to try and educate people on smaller games they may have missed as well as provide counter arguments to all the bashing some games get.. especially defending developers but I've expanded it into reviews and retrospectives and such because it ended up being more fun then I thought. Also there's only so much you can defend

  • for gaming it can't be anything else other then Crush 40... if there was one thing modern Sonic games got right its the music.. I spend hours playing phantasy star online 2 listening to Crush 40 albums

  • Older Games that you still play??

I find myself returning to Final Fantasy 12 quite a lot, and the donkey kong country games. and for the randomness of it I really like Pool paradise which I play a lot still on my gamecube

  • Unless I made something generally with a very broad appeal (like a review of a new game for example) I expect about my first weeks view count to be about half my sub total (so about 100-150 views) as I have to different areas i cover with little cross over. But when i do something like a Vlog I get maybe 50 at most as that has a very limited appeal to my current subscribers. It's just an expectant that not everyone will watch every video and I thoguh think some of my subs just subbed for one vid…

I think your selling yourself a little low.. what you've achieved so far a lot of other youtubers would be happy to have. I've got 250 and I've had my channel for 9 months and everyone seems to say that's a pretty good achievement so I don't think you have to worry.. in time your channel will grow

  • I'd spent a few years writing reviews and articles before I considered the videos, but I generally got annoyed at the amount of videos purely based around bashing games and I wanted to do something more positive and constructive... so I made a top 10 video for another site which got a few thousand views and I though I'd try making my own channel... 9 months, 250 subs and 100 videos later and I'm loving every second

Quote from NerderAlert: “Ahh! awesome good luck to you! supposedly I was going to go this year to Uni, but as you've probably gathered it's a bit late for that! (': I never initially knew what I wanted to do, so I'm taking a year out, hopefully I'll understand by next year where I'm headed!” I spent 2 weeks at uni doing computer science before I decided it wasn't for me and took a gap year and wen't back to do animation. Anyway my first year was the best.. have fun, make friends and get used to …

  • Intro Or No Intro?

I use intros for my various video shows, i think it helps to differentiate between the different content. Though over time they have become shorter with some only 5 seconds long. Though my main documentary series still runs for 20 seconds as i took a vote and everyone liked it, so I remade it with higher quality footage instead.

Relationships between room mates can take a turn for the worse so quickly, mine never really recovered and I found that once I moved out I never talked to them again. Yet until that point of no return which I don't even know when everything changed we'd all been friends. hread Personally I have always found it easier to open up with strangers and to fellow forum members, you get to so quickly see how many people are willing to take the time to chat when life might not be taking the best turns fo…

Experience breeds confidence... just keep at it and you'll see improvements over time. I know i'm essentially repeating what others have said but I look back at my earlyest work now and see how far I've come... but get as much feedback as you can keep at it.. might be a slow gradual change but you'll get there... just like speaking in public

I don't really advertise, but I do link my to my channel in my forum signatures so people who like what I write can go an see what else I do if their interested. I post a lot in critique threads as well as it gets valuable feedback as well to help improve my work. I have a twitter account which tweets my videos but I never noticed any benefit from it, perhaps my best advertisements have been from video features, I had a video get picked for user movie of the week on Gametrailers once which broug…
