Tbh that's not bad for that amount of time. I believe if youtube isn't your job you shouldn't worry to much about subs/views I mean the reality is very few can make a living out of it and for the rest of us it should be a bit of fun so if you genuinely enjoy making videos that will shine through and people will enjoy your videos and subscribe. Just stay positive and be realistic.

1. Ocarina of time - This game made me a gamer, nuff said. 2. Majoras Mask - I like that they tried something different what with the time limit and it was quite eccentric and creepy. There was a lot of sub stories too unlike OoT it was more about going from A to B. 3. Twilight Princess - It made me cry it was so beautiful but sad T_T

First 15 seconds of your video are crucial as there is a high drop off rate aka people stop watching your video after that so you have to wow them in that short time frame so if you have an intro make it impressive and not too long so they stick around and watch the rest of the video.

I use Sony Vegas 12 which in my opinion is an amazing software and worth the money if you're serious about video editing. Like you said it can be hard to understand and be a bit daunting when you first open it up but just look at some tutorials on youtube to learn the basics and then just have a play with vegas to get the feel of it. Trust me it's SO worth it!

The penumbra series. I beat the first one in one night but just found it a bit disappointing and meh in comparison to amnesia so I just never moved onwards to the second game.
