  • Fraps is the most popular as far as I know, but check out Bandicam, dxtory and Camstasia. So far, I've had the best luck with Bandicam and Camtasia. But remember, Fraps will ruin your fps more than most other recording programs. Good luck with your recording!

    xapa112, you are wrong. AMD benchmark lower than nVidia significantly in any task that doesn't require compute power ie 75% of gaming processes. Learn what you're talking about before you tell me I'm wrong.

    Don't go with an AMD CPU. I'm not a fanboy, it's just they benchmark and and perform lower than Intel CPUs. Now, video editing and gaming actually require different hardware to be done at their best. For example, for gaming, an i5 would be great because games don't use many threads. But for editing you'd want an i7 because they hyperthread, and you really need that for editing.
