I think it depends on how much Pewds like KH1 overall first. Kingdom Hearts 2 is, for my money, an improvement on the first game in every way, shape, and form. If he ends up liking this game about as much as Ib or either of Sens' games, then absolutely. If not, though, he should avoid it, since it would take a long time to do and the story can get very confusing very quickly.
