lolwut ? gm_apartment IS an addon of garry's mod, it's a folder with a lot of files and subdirectories, including : a map (bsp) , lua files for the coding part, particles, models and materials. An addon. Like... every other addon of garrysmod. For the install, you just have to drag and drop the folder in the addons/ one, and that's it. No other manipulation needed. If you want to play a recent Arena Shooter which needs actual skill to play you should take a look at Tribes Ascend, it's currently in Open Beta. I'm a big fan of Quake 3 & QL and I was like "OMFG SO AWESOME" when I've tried Tribes Ascend.
