I can only guess since I can't reproduce this and it worked on all my machines, but people on the internet are saying these instant crashes in UDK applications can be caused by old graphics drivers or faulty UAC settings (try running it as an admin). I really don't know though, sorry.

Don't fret, I'm sure he'll notice and play it some time! I thought interest in my game had completely died down a few days ago and suddenly the largest German LP YouTuber started playing it (which resulted in a crash of our download servers). Your game is pretty cool and different from the usual Slender games so I'm sure you'll receive the exposure you deserve! Don't give up, and I wish you good luck! From my experience, the "breakthrough" usually occurs right after the "depression".

I don't play horror games often, but this looked interesting because of the JRPG style, and I wanted to see how effective it was. Some of the puzzles were kind of fun, and despite all the violence and such I found it okay, until (Hidden Content) Well, I got reminded why I don't like horror games, so thanks for that I guess

I understand not wanting to play UDK games if you've had bad experiences with them, that's okay! Yeah I just noticed the link is broken (can't do anything about it right now, ugh). I have no idea what crashes it for you though, that's the first time I've heard of it crashing with the PC version D: Guess I should use another engine for my next game.. UDK is fun to work with but way too complex for just one person doing everything it seems xD

So, did anyone try it? I released a new version 1.1 today (sadly I have no idea how to make patches without breaking everything, so it's the whole download again) It should improve performance a bit and fixes a few issues with the game (hopefully)

Thanks for giving it a try! I noticed I forgot to mention the possible performance issues in my original post, it worked well on most PCs I know it was played on, but some machines might sadly get pretty bad framerates in game I hope you don't experience that!
