Actually, on the topic of douchy reactions, whenever I tell my family anything remotely creative I'm working on, the normal reaction is usually "Well, can you make money with it." Which is pretty shallow, imho. Says more about them then me.

People tend to naturally put down things they can't get their heads around, because it makes them feel less dumb or out of loop. You could try explaining it to them as one might a small child. But that level of immature suck isn't worth your time anyway.

Can't check it out sadly, on account of lacking 3D printing software. And a 3D printer. I do want to get one of those one day though.

I'm actually currently playing it and will be uploading it as my next LP. I love it. I loved the original version and the expanded new game is fantastic. Really love how strange and random it is and the narration is awesome

I think you'll have more luck if you launch on Youtube and then bring your audience over to Twitch.

Someone once suggested that she used iMovie and a sparkle effect of some kind, but I'm not sure that's the right filter, doesn't seem to be. o_O

Always liked the idea. There's certainly games that promised dynamic change based on stuff like say, player morality, but it always just ends up being a very straight and narrow good/bad kind of thing and nothing that makes the story very diverse or complex. Would love to see this done right.

I absolutely love watching Marzia's videos, but I'm curious as to how she gets that pretty glow/sparkle effect to them? Does anyone know what software/filters she uses?

I immediately agree with your "games with long playtimes" one. Autumn for me is a very relaxed time and I don't really want to play too many intense, short games, so I like to kick back with something like Skyrim or Oblivion. Some exploration type games.
