I think your range attack should be you throwing barrels, then after a few hits it gets lighted up (the ability) when you use it you put your hands up then Stephano appears and then Stephano says "i take over this not Pewds" then you say "i will miss you Stephano" then he flies to the enemies and takes upp his sword and Yells "For Peeeewdieeee!!!!" And rushes into battle. This ability can only be used once per level and takes 10 hits with the barrels to recharge it (so most affective at bosses) …
