    I would try to get Oblivion, thats the Elder Scrolls IV, the one before Skyrim, it has mods wich makes it run more smoothly, so maybe any lag you encounter can be modded out. Besides that you should try Morrowind, the Elder Scrolls III, it came out in 2002, so it should be fine, it would really take some getting used too, but it's one of my favorite games ever
