PostI've recently started listening to K-Pop again (it's been a long while since I've last listened to it regularly because I got fed up with it at some point [thank you very much, Tumblr]). Now I really enjoy listening to some groups again I used to listen to a lot of Visual Kei / Oshare Kei too but not anymore, except An Cafe occasionally.

PostI remember two of my most distressing dreams which I had on the same night. (And a lot more but I don't want to type a novel here) In the first one I was standing in the middle of a round room which had stone walls, actually it was like the bottom of a well. The lighting was really pale and there was nothing except me in the room. I looked down to notice that my chest area was bleeding a lot but there were no wounds or anything to be seen. I called the emergency number for an ambulance and on th…

Depends on the situation. If it's a small thing, then I just do what I'd normally do, like watch TV or listen to music. If it's a bigger thing, I usually talk to my friend about it and maybe cry for a while. I try to avoid listening to sad music when I'm sad, it just makes me feel pathetic and that I'm wallowing in my misery too much. And later on when I listen to the sad songs I've listened to when I've been down, they makes me feel ashamed of myself --> I can't listen to the same music anymore…

Almost any kind of music goes for me, I think the screaming thing is the only kind I don't like one bit. (edit: AND DUBSTEP. Gosh I hate dubstep) Here you go, a few of my favorite songs: Gorillaz - On Melancholy Hill (Hidden Content) IAMX - Nature of Inviting (Hidden Content) My latest favorite, Poets of the Fall - Daze (Hidden Content) Quote from Herthes: “ BTW : (Hidden Content)” ^ That is some soul-shattering music right there. I feel like crying when I hear that song

Quote from Katie H: “Quote from kalaongelma: “So I think I'll at least consider that (though money may still be a problem).” I've just checked a list of countries participating in the Erasmus programme, and Finland is one of them! I'm not sure how it works for people who aren't at university, but people from most universities in the UK who want to go abroad for a year, as part of their Modern Languages degree (in fact it's usually compulsory), are entitled to an Erasmus grant! It's not intended …

I used to be really scared of the dark and but I've overcome it and now I know there's nothing scary there so... yeah. Though I'm still somewhat traumatized by some horror stuff so I can't stand any horror movies/games/etc. (That was where my fear of darkness came from) I'm scared that something happens to my family or friends. Especially my dad because for the last 10 years or so I haven't seen him or been in contact with him very often (I see him about 1-3 times a year and talk with him on the…

SilveredJRA, Katie H: Thank you for the encouraging words and for the advice Even though I'm not very confident in my skills or in my capability to improve my skills enough to actually translate anything understandably, it's still tempting to try and learn. I also want to expand the variety of languages for myself; I intend to start self-learning Italian soon and after I've learned it for a while I'll start working on the basics of Korean. Studying languages after graduation is likely for me sin…

Kingdom Hearts II Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days (mostly because of the story line - actually the whole Kingdom Hearts story line is amazing) Final Fantasy X (again, mostly for the amazing story) Assassin's Creed 1 (haven't played the others yet but they seem very promising too!) Child of Light - I haven't played it myself but I'm watching a Let's Play of it on YouTube and it's really beautiful in my opinion. I definitely want to play it myself.

I'm from Finland, 18 years old and currently in my last year of upper secondary school (aka high school). I love studying languages and learning about different cultures; currently I'm learning French and Spanish (and Swedish but that's because I have to). I have absolutely no idea what I'd like to go study after graduating from upper secondary school. One option for me is languages (and cultures) in university but I can't get a career by simply knowing different languages. For many years I want…
