  • Gamecube. My mother did the forbidden and went with my aunt to wait from midnight to opening at the Wal-Mart parking lot on Black Friday to get it with the special edition collectors pack of The Legend of Zelda, which contained the first two impossible Zelda titles originally for the NES plus Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask found previously on the N64, and included 20 minute demos for the then upcoming Windwaker. She nearly lost an eye with all of the shoppers trying to catch a deal. Zelda or …

I don't believe violent games beget violence in minors. I doubt anything could really scar their mind (unless it's straight up torture porn and they're under ten). Its fantasy and they can get over it. I do, however, get extremely annoyed with some kids. I know, I should just chill, let them feel cool because they're underage and playing a violent, gore-infested game behind their mamma's back, which is an awesome, rebellious feeling I recommend all kids to try at one point or another. But when y…

  • ...This...isn't a game you get in stores. So it doesn't have an official rating. But if it did, it would most certainly be A. I can only guess you get it over the internet. I was randomly watching letsplays on Youtube and came across one involving a "My Little Pony" storyline. Oh, of course that's safe, isn't it? The guy who was doing a letsplay had been tricked into playing it by a friend, just to see his reaction. The game comes with a warning the guy read off. "Contains rule 34". I've never h…

  • Devil May Cry 1, I don't remember what age. It was when it first came out. I didn't really think it was that violent, though, so I claim instead Devil May Cry 3, age 22. Until that point, it was all Legend of Zelda, Sonic, Mario, and Kingdom Hearts. I still remember the feeling I had when I saw Dante with all of those blades in his body, strolling to the middle of the room like nothing was wrong. And it wasn't. I felt so invincible in that moment. Then the gameplay started and it only got better…

While games like Skyrim and World of Warcraft are quite good, I would have to go with Ib, since Garry is Hella-cool, as well as most of the Legend of Zelda games. I'm sorry, but it's been revolutionary with nearly every title they've put out. Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask are my faves, though.

It's definitely Ib! Mad Father, Ao Oni, Misao, and The Witch's House were all wonderful games, but I need a hero, someone to restore my faith in humanity. Ib was the only one who had someone admirable who saved the day. You know who I speak of. I guess the nameless Heroine from Misao could also count, but something about her (i.e. when she lost her contact) was off. Maybe I'm too character-oriented...

  • I guess I'm an emotional person, because all of these are me. I cried during FFVII, To The Moon, and and Kingdom Hearts II. Not the first, I really didn't care about Kairi to be honest. No, it was twice during KHII. (Hidden Content) Also, and this one is obvious, the "Forgotten Portrait" ending for Ib. Poor Garry...

  • I can't really remember the first time I played a video game, but I was told it was the original Mario Bros. for the NES when I was one year old. My mom heard somewhere that video games actually help coordination in children, and you make the best of such things when you're young, right? I'm sure I tried to eat the controller about 30 times, but, again, according to my mom, I managed to make it past the first level without too much help. Not sure I believe her on that account, but I thank God fo…

  • The game I'm having trouble remembering was for either the Nintendo or the Super Nintendo. I remember loving the creepy little tune it repeatedly played. I think it was a platformer. You play a guy in a dark forest. There are skull creatures and spiders or bats, I think. A magical fantasy-type storyline. You could go inside trees and it would be unscientifically large inside. What was that game?! I can't remember on my own, I've tried for years now! I think it was pretty popular back in the day.

This is tough! I guess my most fond memory would be playing The Legend Of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Really, I guess it was watching my mother play it was the best. She would kick us off the telly in the middle of our cartoons to play that game, and we kiddos never minded it. In fact, I recall, as a 5 year old, pulling her to the living room and asking her to play. The bad men with swords (castle soldiers) scared me too much for me to play myself until I was 7. Did anyone else ever call Nintendo…

  • To start anew without any knowledge of what was happening in the future of the plot? The Witch's House. Now that I've seen how badly it ends with PewDiePie, I don't want to play it for myself. Also, I already know the way through the house. It'd be such a fun game if I didn't already know this stuff! It's my fault for letsplaying it... But for games I just want to forget the existence of? Harvest Moon. I can't ever get closure with those games, but I can't quit playing them either!
