Well, scientifically nothing will happen when we die. But, doesn't it seem logic in it's way to you get reborn as an animal which cannot speak or contact humans, but when we are reincarnated as an animal we still remember our past life and no matter how much we're trying an trying we won't ever be able to tell any person about it?
