That may be something about temporary files. Download something like CCleaner, run it on your system. Then if it's already something like an external drive, just format it like ShatteredSoul said a post ago. But don't do that on your system part.

Maybe dust in your computer ? And no, SSD is more than expensive when it's +300go ( or something like that ) than a HDD. ( I think. ) If it's not dust, the HDD may have corrupted segment, or something like that. That may be why it said "Disk Error". There's HDD of +250go at something like 60€, Wester Digital. SATA and stuff. I think you can easily find a cheap and good one, just check about the quality. And don't forget, DON'T throw your HDD anywhere, keep it with you. Some mad people can always…
