No Man's Sky got too much hype as it was being made, so of course it didn't live up to the hype people made.

Precisely. I mean, NMS is unique on it's way but not to a point where it makes people play 24/7. It has it's things but there's a tremendously big list of other things that would make this game better. The hype meter instantly dropped when the game got released. I believe if developers didn't release it so early but instead pick a small amount of people to test the Alpha, it would have been way better.

Agreed. Of course, the same could be said for other games also. Then again, people shouldn't demand a game to be released before it's ready, and not bitch about it when it is.
