This was my childhood

I remember playing the shareware version of this a lot. Was pretty cool. Just got it from an abandonware site and installed the Jazz 2+ mod, hopefully it's as good as I remembered! -
ps1? Super old? Son, I've been playing games since the atari 2600. The best system ever created was the SNES.
If you want to talk good video games, you talk old-school. This crap you kids are tricked into playing nowadays is nothing in comparison. -
@captaincrowbar I'm 28, I played all the old school games. Sure, some are awesome, but in my eyes they struggle to compete with the likes of GTA V realistically. Although I stil play some classics now that I enjoy more than a lot of new games.

I can't stand GTA games, they're just debauchery simulators. I prefer games that are fun myself. -

that's literally the whole point of the game. multiplayer generally is the most fun aspect for me, the wildest things happen. I know this is opinionated, but still. -
@captaincrowbar I see where you are coming from. It is a debauchery simulator if you play it that way. I enjoy it for the realism. I'd sooner be seen driving a logging truck around the highways or flying planes in GTA V than killing random people. That's the beauty of the game, you do whatever you want to do.

The two games that first come to mind are Croc: Legend of the Gobbos and Ape Escape (Mostly number 2 for the PS2, but the first one was fun as well.) Although Croc was basically just a Spyro/Crash Hybrid, it is still extremely fun to play, and even though the controls can be a bit sluggish at times, I never blame the game when I die, because the whole game is fair while not being too easy. As for the Ape Escape series, I liked number 1 because it was innovative, I loved number 2 because it was the first one but BETTER, and 3 was meh because it didn't really have any of the original characters or story. Also, Specter went from being completely awesome in number 2 to a high-pitched, whiny little brat in the 3rd.“The important thing is not how long you live... It's what you accomplish with your life. While I live, I want to shine. I want to prove that I exist. If I could do something really important... That would definitely carry on into the future.”

The few games I remember are Time Splitters (1 and 2) for Gamecube, Resident Evil (1-4) Gamecube and PS?, Scooby Doo where you jump over stuff for PS?, and some cowboy game where you go throwing dynamite in a mine everywhere at the end Gamecube. I don't really remember the names very well as I don't have the games anymore, but damn I remember getting to immersed in Scooby Doo to the point where I was almost jumping while sitting down. It was also pretty fun being able to choose which character to use, each with a different weapon, in Resident Evil.
I'm only nearing the 14 year old mark so... -

Yep. Who needs limbs, when you have an awesome hairstyle and a purple hoodie? At least, I think it's a hoodie. It had a hood to it in Raving Rabbids, I'm sure of it.“The important thing is not how long you live... It's what you accomplish with your life. While I live, I want to shine.
