I totally forgot about Theme Park World.
This is the second time I've seen that game mentioned today (on two totally different sites!) after years of forgetting about it. Great memories! I would build and then wonder about playing the side games or participating in the races for ages, it's made me want to dig this out again later.
The only problem I have with that game which I still remember to this day was the exceptionally annoying little Scottish (in my copy anyway) guy that would pop up with irrelevant or inaccurate information every 15 seconds, and he had a really snarky tone in his voice, and it was impossible to switch him off!! I changed his language in the end so although he still popped up I couldn't understand a word of it, it made things bearable.

I bet you mean this guy
he had a really nice voice in german. so he didn't bother me at all. Plus he always warned me about the stink bombs. ;D

He always warned me of strikes, and I never knew how to deal with strikes so I just fired my staff and hired new ones!
