after months of painful wait and insecurity about what is going to happen, the day has finally come. The day most of you have probably been waiting for.
We will be releasing our big forum overhaul and update to the public on Friday, 24/04/2014. Since this will require us to import a lot of data and do some server magic, be prepared for long waiting times. I can't provide any concrete times right now, but I'll update this thread on that soon. This will be a soft launch without much other attention put towards the site from other sources, mostly to just iron out any last kinks in case we find them.
At the same time I announce that the blogs feature will not be copied over due to it having no specific use anymore. If there is high demand for this, we may consider adding it in again at a later point of time. If you want to save your blog posts, I would suggest doing so now. You will be able to contact us and request backups of your blog after the move, but that will take some time to be answered.

Update 1: Sorry for the confusion with the dates, yesterday was a long day. I just checked my planning again and saw that it is best for me to do the update later today (around 1:30pm to 2pm). I am sorry that the notification is so short sighted, but things are moving fast and I need to finish the update as soon as possible due to other projects on my list starting soon.
